Rajayogi Brahmakumar, Dr Sachin Parab is a multifaceted personality who has given his life for Godly services. He is a brahmachary medical doctor who believes in the power of purity. Professionally he is medical graduate (MBBS) from Mumbai University with specialization in clinical research. He is also professional counsellor and corporate trainer, life coach. He has vast experience in medico-marketing and clinical research and has given his services in the pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations for many years.
He was the part of the team who did research on Brahma kumaris Rajayoga meditation. The biggest research on heart disease (coronary artery disease) is done by Brahmakumaris through Rajayogi lifestyle and he feels fortunate to work in this research along with team of Brahma Kumaris like Dr Satish Gupta and scientist from DRDO like Dr APJ Abdul Kalam & Dr Selvamurthy. He is also investigator for published study on de-addiction of tobacco, alcohol through Rajayoga meditation
After personally having some transcendental experiences in Rajayoga meditation as taught by Brahmakumaris, he decided to give his entire life for the Godly service. He is practicing and teaching Rajayoga Meditation since last 26 yrs.
As per him, Incorporeal Godfather whom they call Shivbaba (Shiva means benefactor and Baba means father) is using him for spreading the Godly message of world transformation through self transformation. So far he has delivered more than 5000 lectures all over India and Nepal. He is also an author of the short motivational book, “Blessings of problems”.
His main contributions are in the field of de-addiction in India. He is currently Project director of Global Initiative for Tobacco Awareness and national coordinator of My India Addiction Free India campaign. He has so far trained more than 18000 volunteers in India who are giving services for My India Addiction Free India campaign.
Awards received
He has received Maharashtra state level award, “Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi Award” from govt of Maharashtra for his contributions in the field of de-addiction in Maharashtra. He is also instrumental in getting this award to Brahma kumaris, consecutively 7 times from the govt of Maharashtra. He has also received Adarsha Doctor Award 2013 and Rotary Service Award 2018 for his services in de-addiction.
